چکیده
A new formula for the volume of a hyperbolic and spherical tetrahedron is obtained from the quantum 6j-symbol. This formula is of symmetric form with respect to the symmetry of the tetrahedron.

Toward a facile synthesis of spherical sub-micron mesoporous silica: Effect of surfactant concentration
In this paper, a facile method for preparing sub-micron spherical mesoporous silica by the sol-gel process and cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as a soft template was reported. Moreover, the effect of surfactant concentration on the specific surface area and the total pore volume was investigated. The specific surface area, pore characteristic, morphology, chemical comp...
متن کاملCurvature Free Rigidity for Higher Rank Three-manifolds
We prove two rigidity results for complete Riemannian threemanifolds of higher rank. Complete three-manifolds have higher spherical rank if and only if they are spherical space forms. Complete finite volume threemanifolds have higher hyperbolic rank if and only if they are finite volume hyperbolic space forms.
متن کاملFlow Stress Modeling in a γ-γ/ Cobalt Base Superalloy by Using the Hyperbolic Sine Equation and ANN Method
The new class of wrought γ-γ/ Co-base superalloys, which are based on Co-Al-W system, was developed by conventional hot working routes with a high volume fraction of γ/ precipitates and good mechanical properties. The aim of the present study was to predict the flow stress and hot deformation modeling of a novel γ-γ/ Co-base superalloy. The hot compression test...
متن کاملGlobal rigidity of 3-dimensional cone-manifolds
We prove global rigidity for compact hyperbolic and spherical cone-3-manifolds with cone-angles ≤ π (which are not Seifert fibered in the spherical case), furthermore for a class of hyperbolic cone-3-manifolds of finite volume with cone-angles ≤ π, possibly with boundary consisting of totally geodesic hyperbolic turnovers. To that end we first generalize the local rigidity result contained in [...
متن کامل2 00 4 Continuity of the Volume of Simplices in Classical Geometry
It is proved that the volume of spherical or hyperbolic simplices, when considered as a function of the dihedral angles, can be extended continuously to degenerated simplices. §1. Introduction 1.1. It is well known that the area of a spherical or a hyperbolic triangle can be expressed as an affine function of the inner angles by the Gauss-Bonnet formula. In particular, the area considered as a ...
